Tŷ Gwennol is a One Planet Development in West Wales.
We believe in producing great quality food that doesn’t cost the earth, eliminating plastic packaging and using a low carbon approach.
Tŷ gwennol is working to be part of the solution.
We’re a smallholding and part of an ecohamlet community. Our home, buildings, energy and business are low carbon. Our food-miles are tiny.
Our aim is to craft a delicious oat milk that’s as local, as ecological and as unpackaged as we can.
We’re also a family
Tŷ Gwennol is Wyc and Silvie. We live and work here with our two children and our dog, building our home and developing the land to be as productive and biodiverse as possible. You can follow our story on our Facebook page here.
Your oat milk comes in a reusable glass bottle.
Our returnable glass bottles create a zero waste packaging solution.
No tetra-paks.
We’re growing our own oats
…. And learning all the time. We harvest, thresh and winnow delicious naked oats by hand (and bike!). Come join our community harvest event every late summer.
Our field is too small to supply all the oats we need, so we also buy in the best quality organic oats and whenever possible, we’ll buy from other local growers too.
Prepared on-site
… Mixed, blended, processed, bottled and pasturised right here and delivered direct to local stockists.
And we’re solar powered for most of the year.
